Our Approach

Each story goes through countless of hours of planning, researching, writing, designing, and review to give you the Rawaa experience.

Our Sources

We take trust seriously. Every story we create is rooted in reliable, traditional sources.

The Qur'an

The ultimate primary source for our storytelling foundation.

Ahadith

Authentic traditions to guide narrative accuracy.

Tafsir Works

Including al-Tabari, al-Qurtubi, and Ibn Kathir.

Books of Tarikh

Historical texts such as al-Tabari, al-Tha'labi, and more.

Our Process

How we craft stories with care and precision.

A

Primary Sources Only

We strictly use confirmed and agreed-upon events from primary Islamic sources to form the core of every story.

B

Reverence and Care

Taking extra care when portraying sacred people — like the Prophets, the greatest women, and other revered figures, ensuring utmost respect in illustration and dialogue.

C

Rigorous Cross-Corroboration

For details limited in the Qur'an or Hadith, we consult Tafsir and historical works to fill in the narrative using a cross-corroboration method. We apply strict filters to secondary reports, ensuring:

Historical plausibility
Corroboration across sources
No contradiction with primary texts
No problematic theological implications

Translations may be simplified or gently adapted to make meaning clearer for children. We also make sure to define key terms and new challenging words.

Scholarly Endorsements

Trusted by leaders and educators in the community.
