Agreement to Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Application.

All intellectual property rights in the Application—including illustrations, text, stories, character designs, logos, software, audio, and trademarks—belong to Rawaa Tales Ltd or our licensors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Application for personal, non-commercial family entertainment and education.

You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Application or any part of its content without our prior written permission.

Parents, Guardians, and Children

Accounts, subscription purchases, token transactions, and legal acceptance of these Terms must be completed by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older.

Children may use the Application only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian. The parent or guardian is responsible for the account, for safeguarding account credentials, and for all activities and reading sessions conducted by the child through the Application.

Acceptance of these Terms does not constitute consent to personal data processing or analytics. Our collection and use of personal data are governed separately by our Privacy Policy, which you should review alongside these Terms.

Third-Party Services and Attribution

The Application integrates trusted third-party services to support authentication, subscription billing, cloud infrastructure, notifications, and privacy-restricted advertising measurement. These third-party services have their own terms governing their platforms:

The Application uses privacy-restricted attribution technology (via Singular) with Limited Data Sharing enabled to measure whether our advertising campaigns result in app installs, without behavioral profiling or tracking of children.

Network, firewall, or privacy-blocking tools (such as private DNS, ad blockers, or VPNs) may prevent attribution requests from completing. The use of such tools will not restrict your core access to the Application or your ability to read unlocked stories.

Subscriptions and In-App Billing

Explorer subscriptions and virtual tokens are billed as in-app purchases processed through the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android) and are subject to the respective app store terms and billing policies.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the renewal date. You can manage, change, or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

Downgrading from an Explorer subscription to the Starter tier will lock premium stories unlocked under that subscription tier, but re-subscribing will restore access to those stories.

Notifications and Communications

The Application may send push notifications regarding new story releases, reading reminders, series announcements, and account updates via Expo Notifications and Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can manage or disable notification permissions at any time through your device settings or the Application's settings menu.

Marketing and newsletter emails are managed via OneSignal. Parents can unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of each email.

Using the Application and Connectivity

Access to digital comic content, reading synchronization, and account features requires an active internet connection. Rawaa Tales Ltd is not responsible for interruptions or degraded functionality caused by poor connectivity, network outages, or mobile data caps.

If you access the Application over cellular data, your mobile network carrier’s standard data and roaming charges apply.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, account credentials, and passwords. We strongly advise against jailbreaking, rooting, or running unauthorized modifications on your device, as this may compromise security and cause the Application to malfunction.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

While we strive to ensure that all comic narratives, historical depictions, and Islamic references are authentic, beautifully illustrated, and thoroughly reviewed, the Application and its content are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rawaa Tales Ltd disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Application.

Updates, Suspension, and Termination

We may release periodic updates to add new stories, improve performance, address security vulnerabilities, or modify features. We recommend enabling automatic updates to ensure optimal performance.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Application or your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we discontinue the service. Upon termination, your right to use the Application will cease.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Application after updated Terms are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
